The Red Wing Weekender Chukka gets it’s name from it’s casual nature, suitable for the office by style, and comfort for everyday casual and light work use. The Weekender styles comes with a cushy padded insole that we find to be more comfortable than any sneaker, but you get the same tough leather exterior as all other heritage Red Wings. The leather is Red Wings best-selling “Copper Rough and Tough” which has a natural color variation as the leather stretches and bends, but will slightly darken consistently over a period of years.
